Neon City Kit v1.1: an isometric cyberpunk tileset for Godot 4 and Tiled
Neon City Kit v1.1: 464 isometric cyberpunk pixel art pieces and 43 effects, set up for Godot 4 and Tiled, with a free version and a playable demo.

An isometric cyberpunk city you can build a game in
Neon City Kit is our isometric cyberpunk tileset for Godot 4 and Tiled. It is a whole night city in pixel art: neon buildings with signs that spell real words, rooms you can walk into, auto-tiling streets, hover traffic, cover that breaks, loot, pickups, rain and neon light.
Version 1.1 brings the kit to 464 pieces and more than 1,000 animation frames, plus 43 effects. Every piece shares one palette and one light, and everything is sized for 64 px characters: buildings stand on 2x2 tiles, doors are taller than your hero and cars are a lane wide.
It is made to be played, not only looked at. Every solid tile already has its collision and its game tags (cover, explosive, loot, door, wall, pickup and more), and every damage state is a separate tile you can swap in code.
What is new in v1.1
The first big update is free for everyone who already owns the kit: download it again from the itch.io page to get it.
- Interiors: 140 pieces to build cut-away rooms, with walls in four styles (garage, bar, cyber clinic, apartment), lit floors and about 70 pieces of furniture
- Street front: 66 new pieces, including traffic lights, a bus stop, chargers, facade signs, back-alley clutter, parked cars, hover trucks and drones
- Rooftops: 29 pieces, with walkable roofs, parapets, railings, water tanks, masts, billboards and catwalks
- Four new buildings: two corporate towers with lit crowns, a tea house with a dome and a police station with a helipad
- 38 new effects, for 43 in all
- Sample scenes for Godot and sample maps for Tiled: furnished rooms, a dressed street and a rooftop
- Redrawn pickups, hover cars with a soft shadow and under-glow, lighter sidewalks and damage states that change shape

What is inside the kit
The pieces are grouped the way you build a level: ground first, then buildings, street, props and effects on top.
- Buildings: 29 buildings from 2 to 9 storeys (sushi bar, ramen shop, arcade, night club, capsule hotel, corporate towers, a megatower with searchlights and more), plus 6 enterable buildings with a roll-up shutter that is closed, opening, open or closing
- Interiors: 140 pieces of walls, floors and furniture
- Street, alleys and facades: 104 pieces, with hover traffic in 4 directions, street furniture, facade dressing and back-alley props
- Rooftops: 29 pieces
- Gameplay pieces: 34, such as concrete cover that is intact, hit or destroyed, an explosive fuel cell, a loot crate, a hackable ATM, a health station, roadblocks and fences with gates
- Pickups: 13, from a credit chip and a medkit to a keycard, a data shard and weapons, each bobbing over a glowing ring
- Ground: 90 tiles, including a 47-tile sidewalk auto-tile that draws every kerb and corner for you
- Effects: 43, covering weapons, blasts, city details, game markers, lights and weather
An isometric tileset for Godot 4
The download includes a Godot 4 project built only from the kit, tested in Godot 4.5. The TileSet comes with collision polygons, custom data for each piece and its tags, the sidewalk terrain and every animation already set up, so signs, billboards, screens, traffic lights, fans, fire, drones and pickups move as soon as you paint them.
Press Play and you get a playable block: walk with WASD, open shutters and gates with E, shoot cover and fuel cells with a click and toggle the rain with R. Three more sample scenes show furnished rooms, a dressed street front and a rooftop. Effects come as SpriteFrames, and the path-finding grid, rain overlay and neon light scripts are reusable.
The people walking around the demo only show the scale: characters are not part of the kit.

Tiled tilesets and any other engine
For Tiled there are tilesets with collision objects, properties, a wangset and animations, plus 4 maps: the demo block, the rooms, the street and the rooftop.
Working in Unity, GameMaker, Defold or your own engine? Use the atlases with their JSON file, which lists the name, position, frames, timing and tags of every piece, or the single PNG frames of every piece and every effect. The grid is true 2:1 pixel isometric with 64x32 tiles, and a README explains the anchors, the game data and the setup step by step.
Free version, full kit or Source Edition
All three downloads are on the same itch.io page. The free version has 139 of the 464 pieces (30%), already set up for Godot 4 and Tiled, so you can try the kit in your own project first.
The full kit is 7.99 € and the Source Edition is 14.99 €. The Source Edition contains the full kit plus the Blender scene (.blend, animated) and the Aseprite file of every piece, for your own variants, recolours and signs. Until 17 November 2026 there is a 50% launch sale: 3.99 € for the full kit and 7.49 € for the Source Edition.
You can use the kit in commercial and non-commercial games, in as many projects as you like, and edit or recolour it. Reselling or redistributing the assets is not allowed.
